- Rutile quartz is also known as Cupid's Darts, Fleches D'Amour, and Venus hair stone.
- The rutile inclusions found inside the star rutile quartz are actually the titanium dioxide mineral formations. These inclusions also show the presence of iron oxide. The beautiful red and golden rutile structures are formed when there is a rich amount of iron oxide.
- Star rutilated quartz shows the refractive index of 1.544 to 1.553.
- It has a lovely transparent to translucent appearance with a vitreous luster.
- The beautiful looking star rutile quartz shows a hardness of around 7 on the Mohs scale.

Re- Purposed Wedding Band Ensemble with separate diamond band

Visit product page →This was a very exciting re-purposing project plus a new diamond ring to the newly redesigned bands. The client wanted a lot of bling so Christie resized the original bands as shown below in the last picture. Then Christie cut the original band in two and set pave set it with diamonds, added to side square diamonds and then soldered all of them together ...this added with a brand new complementary anniversary band with 3x 3/4 carat diamonds. She loves it!
