The handwritten text on the necklace was written by Christie Grace. This lovely Violet, Periwinkle gemstone is known as the "Vikings Compass" because explorers used an Iolite lens that helped them determine the exact positioning of the sun while shielding their eyes from the glare. The name IOLITE comes from the Greek word 'IOS' meaning Violet. It has many spiritual properties that include boosting one's energy and intuitive gifts and is associated with the third eye and throat chakra for its ability to enhance one's vision.
